Who can apply

Anyone living at an eligible address within a Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ) can create an account on our online parking system and apply for visitor parking sessions.

Payment is by credit/debit card only. No paper permits are issued - the system is fully digital.

How to book out your visitor sessions

Once you've bought a block(s) of visitor parking sessions, you will need to book out the parking sessions for your visitor in your account. Follow the steps in our  Booking out a visitor parking session guide (PDF 210KB).

If your visitor is staying longer than a single session allows, you will need to book multiple sessions to cover the time.

For example: for a three-hour stay, book three one-hour sessions in a row.

Please note: To buy a long stay (one-week) visitor parking session, a resident in the household will first need to obtain the free ‘visitor permit entitlement’ as part of their application.

Scratch card vouchers

You must apply for visitor sessions online. If you need help to do this, please email dacorum.uk@sabagroup.com or call 01908 223505.

In exceptional circumstances, we will issue paper scratch card vouchers instead. For more information, please email parking@dacorum.gov.uk.

How to use scratch card vouchers

Scratch off a box in every section: day, date, month, start time, morning/afternoon.

You can display multiple vouchers in your windscreen to cover the required parking time. Make sure the start time of each new voucher begins when the previous one ends.

For overnight parking, display vouchers to cover the time up to the end of that day’s restricted hours. Then use another voucher starting from the next day's restricted hours. All vouchers can be displayed at the same time.
