Statement of Community Involvement

Current Statement of Community Involvement

Local councils are required by the Government to produce a Statement of Community Involvement (SCI). The role of the SCI is to outline our standards for community involvement in the planning process and to identify ways we will achieve these standards. The current version of the SCI was adopted by us on 18 September 2019 (see document below).

An addendum to the SCI was adopted by the Council on 20 October 2020. This details the process we followed during the consultation published under Regulation 18, Dacorum Local Plan 2020-2038 - The Emerging Strategy for Growth, whilst COVID-19-related restrictions were in effect.

Our previous SCI was adopted on 13 July 2016 (see below).
