Dog fouling
You must bag dog waste and put it in either a dog waste bin or a normal litter bin. If you don't, you may receive a fixed penalty notice, or face court action and a fine. We work with District Enforcement to enforce this.
Report dog fouling that needs clearing
If there is a lot of waste or regular fouling in a particular area, please report the issue so that we can clear it:

Report someone for not picking up after their dog
If you see someone failing to pick up after their dog, please report it by emailing: animalwelfare@dacorum.gov.uk.
We will look into it and either speak to the person to raise awareness or take enforcement action if needed.
When reporting, please give as much detail as you can, including:
- Your name, address and telephone number
- The date, time and location of the incident. (You can also use what3words to let us know the location)
- Any photos / videos showing the offence
- The name(s) and address(es) of the persons involved (if known)
- A description of the dog.
