Report a parking problem

Report a parking problem

What our Parking Service does

  • Enforces waiting restrictions
  • Issues Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs).
  • Manages and maintains our car parks.

Before you report a problem

We can only enforce certain parking restrictions. Before filling out the online form, please check below to see if we are the correct body to look into the problem.

Where we can take action

  • Parking on a school keep-clear area (marked by yellow zig zags)
  • Parking on yellow lines (except disabled blue badge holders)
  • Parking on the pavement or grass verge next to yellow lines
  • Parking in a limited waiting bay for longer than permitted
  • Parking in a bus stop (shown with yellow line on the road with no stopping signage)
  • Parking in a taxi rank (unless you are a Dacorum Borough Council-registered hackney carriage taxi)
  • Parking in a loading bay without loading or unloading.

Where we can't take action

  • Parking on the pavement or verge not next to yellow lines
  • If your driveway is temporarily blocked - you will need to contact the vehicle owner
  • If someone blocks your driveway while your car is on it. Call the police on 101.
  • You think a vehicle is abandoned. Find out how to report an abandoned vehicle.

Next steps

We may not respond directly, but your report will be sent to our Parking Services team and our parking enforcement contractor (Saba Park Services UK Ltd). A Civil Enforcement Officer (CEO) will visit the location. If a vehicle is in breach of a parking restriction, they will issue a Penalty Charge Notice.

If you have read the above and believe that we can investigate the problem, fill in our online form below:
