Parks, play and open spaces
We manage many parks, open spaces and play areas in Dacorum. These green spaces are a great place to relax. Whether you want to read a book, walk the dog or spend the day with the family, there's something for everyone.
Our Parks and Open Spaces team works with Friends groups to improve the quality of our green spaces. This includes developing new facilities, planting flowers and shrubs and maintaining playgrounds.
Byelaws
We have byelaws for pleasure grounds, public walkways and open spaces in Dacorum. These rules apply to all Council-managed open spaces. For full details, plus accompanying maps, please see below:

Walking routes
There are many walking routes in the borough, for walkers of all abilities. Visit the Hertfordshire County Council website to explore these routes.
