We have garages available to rent across the borough. To apply, click the link below. We prioritise applications based on registration date.
Ending your garage tenancy

Charges
Standard rate
Weekly rent (1 April 2025 to 31 March 2026):

*VAT is not charged to tenants but applies to all other applicants.
Higher rate
We charge a higher rate for garages in high-demand areas:
- Hemel Hempstead: Allandale, Anchor Lane, Figtree Hill, Hammer Lane, Spring Lane
- Berkhamsted: Chaucer Close, Douglas Gardens, Hilltop Road
- Kings Langley: Beechfield
- Tring: Eight Acres

*VAT is not charged to tenants but applies to all other applicants.
If you are a Dacorum Borough Council tenant or leaseholder and rent more than two garages, VAT will be payable on any further rentals.
Payments
You must make payment by Direct Debit.
Please note: Direct Debit rent calculations will be charged over 48 weeks for the 12 months in 2025-2026.
Council tenants can link their garage rent to their house account. We will reject your application if you have outstanding tenancy arrears with us. You must clear the arrears first.
