Damp and mould

If your home is affected by damp or mould we first need to work out what is causing it.

There are three main types of damp:

Leaking plumbing or roofing

Where you may get water in one area of your home, especially after rainfall or using your taps. I think I have leaking plumbing or roofing.

Moisture rising from the ground (rising damp)

This will leave 'tidemarks', stained and damp areas at the bottom of your walls. This only affects ground floors and basements. I think I have rising damp.

Condensation

Where water droplets form on the inside of your windows and walls. I think I have condensation.
