Have your say on renewal of dog control order

Couple with dog

In October 2014 the Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014 introduced new powers relevant to tackling Anti-Social Behaviour. Public Spaces Protection Orders (PSPO’s) can be used to regulate activities in particular public places that have a detrimental effect on the local community.

We are currently consulting on renewing a Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO) that covers the behaviour of dogs and their owners.

PSPOs are aimed at ensuring public spaces can be enjoyed free from anti-social behaviour. They are not about stopping the responsible use of public spaces - but they do provide us with a tool to tackle persistent issues that are damaging our communities.

Find out more and complete the survey.

The deadline for completing the survey is 5pm on Sunday 27 March 2022.
